Hanoi is a bustling metropolis with a lovely blend of ancient and new architecture. With beautiful structures originating from the French colonial era, the Old Quarter is a lovely spot to explore on foot. Small alleyways with old buildings and friendly people who smile in a real Vietnamese way give you a real feel for the capital.
