Day 1: Tuan Chau Marina - Halong Bay - Lan Ha Bay (L,D)

Be at No. 26 Tuan Chau Marina. Check in at cruise Lounge.

Boarding Velar of the Sea Cruise. Check in your cabin and listen to safety guide, present by the cruise captain.

Have a delicious buffet lunch at Velar Restaurant. The cruise start sailing toward the bay, passing by magnificent limestones and islets.

Anchor in Tra Bau area, a quiet area surround by mountainous. Perfect time to join some swimming and kayaking.
17:30
Back to Velar of The Sea cruise. Attend happy hours from the outdoor bar, enjoy the sunset in Halong Bay.

Cooking demonstration.

Enjoy delicious dinner on board.
Day 2: Lan Ha Bay - Dark and Bright Cave - Tuan Chau Marina (B,L)

Start at new day in Halong Bay by watching sunrise. Join in a Tai Chi class.

Buffet breakfast will be served.

Transfer to Dark and Bright Cave. Kayaking or taking sampan boat to explore hidden corner of this beautiful cave.

Come back to Velar of The Sea Cruise. Check out the cabin.

Have a light brunch while the cruise slowly return to the dock.

Back to the port. Say goodbye to the crew. Tour end.
Day 1: Tuan Chau - Halong Bay - Lan Ha Bay (L,D)
12:00 Present at Tuan Chau Marina to check in the cruise. You’ll be transfer by a small tender to where the cruise anchor. Get your room and have lunch with Velar of the Sea start it journey.
Afternoon
After leisurely enjoy the view from your beautiful cabin, arrive at Tra Bau area. It’s a calm and quiet pristine lagoon, perfect place to explore the surrounding by kayaking or swimming.
Come back to Velar of The Sea later for Sunset party and Cooking Demonstration.
Evening
Enjoy Special Dinner on the deck.
Join night activities and get to bed.
Day 2: Cat Ba Island - Viet Hai Village - Ba Trai Dao Beach - Lan Ha Bay (B,L,D)
Morning
Start your new day with a Tai Chi class and join the buffet breakfast. We then will transfer to small tender boat to explore the further part of Lan Ha Bay and Halong Bay.
Arrive in Viet Hai village, a small village located deep within Cat Ba National Park. Start biking through a lush green road, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and stunning scenery of the village and its surrounding. (If you’re not prefer to bike, you could take a electric car instead).
Afternoon
Back to the day boat. Have lunch.
After lunch, we’ll visit Ba Trai Dao, a special beach which only reveal few hours per day. Leisurely relaxing on this pristine beach.
Return to Velar of the Sea later that afternoon.
Evening
Dinner time.
Day 3: Lan Ha Bay - Dark and Bright Cave - Tuan Chau Marina (B,L)
Morning
Wake up and enjoy a cup of coffee.
After buffet breakfast, starting visiting Dark and Bright Cave by kayaking.
10:00 Return to the cruise, check out and have brunch.
11:30 Back to the port. End of the itinerary.

Velar of The Sea Cruise features
Launched in April 2024, Velar of the Sea consists 29 spacious suite cabins spread over 5 decks. These suites are spacious, ranging from 48m2 to 90m2. In each suites, you’ll find modest facilities, together with private balcony and sundeck, offer full bay view.
Up on the top deck is a 360-degree view sundeck and sky bar, a perfect spot to savor delicious drinks while admiring the stunning view of Halong Bay.
Velar of the Sea Cruise also has 1 on-board spa and a fine-dining restaurant.
Dining in the Velar of the Sea would be a signature point of the cruise. The restaurant on board located on the 3rd deck, with a capacity up to 55 guests. It’s also equipped with two spacious terraces, giving you a chance to enjoy your meals while enjoying the view.
All meals on board are inspired by the Yin-Yang principle, with perfect balances of Vietnamese, Asian, and Western cuisine. All the ingredients are well selected throughout Vietnam to ensure quality and freshness.

2. Cancellation due to inclement weather:
– In the event of inclement weather, the Management Board of Halong Bay will determine the morning of departure whether a cancellation is necessary. If such a cancellation is necessary, we will provide alternative travel arrangements or a full refund in accordance with the cruise policy.

1. Could we get picked up and drop off at the airport?
No, the bus only picks up & drops off at Hanoi Old quarter.
However, we’re also provide a separated service to transfer from Old Quarter to the Airport. Please kindly note in the booking so that our agent could advise accordingly.
2. Is there vegetarian food available ?
Yes. All of the cruises are now offer vegetarian options for travelers.
Besides, others food such as Halal, non-gluten,.. or any special requirement are also available. Please kindly inform us by email or “note section” once you process the booking in the next step. We’ll ensure your dining experience on board will be memorable.
3. Does the cruise price included transfer from Hanoi or Hai Phong or Ninh Binh?
No it’s not. We have mentioned clearly what’s included in “Price Inclusion” section above. However, we do provide transfer service between cruises and Hanoi/Hai Phong/Ninh Binh. It’s all could be booked in the next step. If your wish destination is not show up, kindly note down on the Booking Notes for our travel expert to advise accordingly.
4. If I plan to book a flight right after the cruise, what time should I book ?
The cruise would be back to the port at 11:30. It then take 3 hours to get back to Hanoi airport & 45 mins to get to Hai Phong airport. As a results, we strongly suggest:
- Flight from Cat Bi Airport (Hai Phong City): After 2pm
- Flight from Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi City): After 5pm
5. What should I pack for the cruise ?
When packing for Cruise, the most important items to bring are comfortable clothing, swimwear, and sunscreen. If you travel during winter months (November to Feb), you may also need to pack a light jacket or sweater to keep warm during cooler evenings.
Typically, each cruise provides 1 – 2 bottles of water for free every day, and you will not be allowed to bring your own drinks. So, if you want to stay hydrated, bring some money (the drinks on board are a little pricy)
It is also recommended that you bring a camera or smartphone with enough of storage capacity for photos and videos in order to make the most of your trip. Prepare some waterproof protection for them, as you will be doing a lot of water-based activities.
Finally, remember to bring any medications or toiletries you might need while away from home.
