2. Cancellation due to inclement weather:
– In the event of inclement weather, the Management Board of Halong Bay will determine the morning of departure whether a cancellation is necessary. If such a cancellation is necessary, we will provide alternative travel arrangements or a full refund in accordance with the cruise policy.

Be at No. 26 Tuan Chau Marina. Check in at cruise Lounge.

Boarding Velar of the Sea Cruise. Check in your cabin and listen to safety guide, present by the cruise captain.

Have a delicious buffet lunch at Velar Restaurant. The cruise start sailing toward the bay, passing by magnificent limestones and islets.
15:00
Anchor in Tra Bau area, a quiet area surround by mountainous. Perfect time to join some swimming and kayaking.
17:30
Back to Velar of The Sea cruise. Attend happy hours from the outdoor bar, enjoy the sunset in Halong Bay.

Cooking demonstration.

Enjoy delicious dinner on board.

Start at new day in Halong Bay by watching sunrise. Join in a Tai Chi class.

Buffet breakfast will be served.

Transfer to Dark and Bright Cave. Kayaking or taking sampan boat to explore hidden corner of this beautiful cave.

Come back to Velar of The Sea Cruise. Check out the cabin.

Have a light brunch while the cruise slowly return to the dock.

Back to the port. Say goodbye to the crew. Tour end.
12:00 Present at Tuan Chau Marina to check in the cruise. You’ll be transfer by a small tender to where the cruise anchor. Get your room and have lunch with Velar of the Sea start it journey.
Afternoon
After leisurely enjoy the view from your beautiful cabin, arrive at Tra Bau area. It’s a calm and quiet pristine lagoon, perfect place to explore the surrounding by kayaking or swimming.
Come back to Velar of The Sea later for Sunset party and Cooking Demonstration.
Evening
Enjoy Special Dinner on the deck.
Join night activities and get to bed.
Morning
Start your new day with a Tai Chi class and join the buffet breakfast. We then will transfer to small tender boat to explore the further part of Lan Ha Bay and Halong Bay.
Arrive in Viet Hai village, a small village located deep within Cat Ba National Park. Start biking through a lush green road, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and stunning scenery of the village and its surrounding. (If you’re not prefer to bike, you could take a electric car instead).
Afternoon
Back to the day boat. Have lunch.
After lunch, we’ll visit Ba Trai Dao, a special beach which only reveal few hours per day. Leisurely relaxing on this pristine beach.
Return to Velar of the Sea later that afternoon.
Evening
Dinner time.
Morning
Wake up and enjoy a cup of coffee.
After buffet breakfast, starting visiting Dark and Bright Cave by kayaking.
10:00 Return to the cruise, check out and have brunch.
11:30 Back to the port. End of the itinerary.

Launched in April 2024, Velar of the Seas offers 29 suite cabins across 5 decks. Each suite is between 48m² and 90m², with a private balcony and bathtub. All of the cabins well-equipped with fullest and most modern amenities.

Your Hanoi hotel pickups always in the morning and direct to the port? Can we be picked up in the afternoon in Hanoi and stay in the Ha Long Bay Hotel that night? Then how can we go to the port in the morning?
Thank you. At the moment, all the cruise shuttle will depart in the morning from Hanoi. If you'd like to go in the afternoon the day before, please consider private car or Grab.
