    What to wear

November in Halong is usually warm during the day and can be pretty cold during the night, so try to wear something flexible.

For daytime, dress in light layers that you can easily adjust. A comfortable long-sleeve top or thin sweater with jeans or casual trousers is ideal. Prepare a pair of sandals or sports shoes in case you’re out exploring caves.

For nighttime, a warm jacket or windbreaker will help you stay cozy during dinner on the deck or while trying squid fishing. A soft scarf is recommended.
