Facilities
Dora Cruise is built with 4 floors, included 22 suite cabins for overnight stay. Each cabin is designed to have a full private balcony and jacuzzi bathtub. These cabins are featured with modern amenities such as air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, and Western standard bed to ensure a comfortable stay. The cabin’s sizes are also quite large on average (30–50 m2).
Besides 2 floors for rooms, you could also find extra facilities for relaxing such as Spa or Gym on the 3rd floor. Last but not least, up on the sundeck of Dora Cruise, there’ll be a four season pool with open view to Halong Bay. It would be a perfect place for relaxing after long day of traveling.
Dining
Dining on Dora Cruise will focus on what Halong Bay is famous for – Seafood. The menu is a harmoniously mixture of seafood, Vietnamese specialties and Western dishes, enough to satisfy and fill up your stomach. There’ll be buffet style for breakfast and 2 lunches together with an a la carte menu for dinner.
Special request like Halal food, vegetarian or so could also be catered if you inform the cruise in advance.
Travel routes and activities
Dora Cruise, like other luxurious cruises, will start from Halong Bay and sailing through Lan Ha Bay. It’ll cover some major sights of the area like Trung Trang Cave, Dark and Bright Cave or Tra Bau area.
The cruise offer 2 choices of schedules: 2 days or 3 days. With 3 days, you’ll going extra by stopping by peaceful Viet Hai Village in Cat Ba Island and spend more time to relax on Ba Trai Dao Beach.
There’ll be lots of activities during your time on board: Kayaking, swimming, cooking class or Tai Chi practice.

2. Cancellation due to inclement weather:
– In the event of inclement weather, the Management Board of Halong Bay will determine the morning of departure whether a cancellation is necessary. If such a cancellation is necessary, we will provide alternative travel arrangements or a full refund in accordance with the cruise policy.

Itineraries
11:30 Arrive at Tuan Chau Marina and check in Dora Cruise. The cruise captain will go through all of the safety and itinerary instructions with you.
13:00: Great Vietnam seafood (vegetarian available) is served while cruising start the journey through magnificent Halong Bay.
15:00 Explore the natural lagoon area of Lan Ha Bay. The cruise will drop anchor at Ba Trai Dao or Tra Bau area for swimming, kayaking and more.

18:00 – 18:15: Learn how to cook some traditional Vietnamese food with Dora Cruise’s Chef through Cooking Class.

Arrive Tuan Chau and get ready for cruise checking in. Welcome to Dora Cruise and enjoy a welcome drink before meeting the captain and crew for a brief overview of the voyage and safety guidelines.
Afternoon
After lunch, we’ll heading to Ba Trai Dao Beach and Tra Bau area for water activities such as kayaking, swimming or simply relaxing on the beach.On our way, revealing lots of Halong/Lan Ha Bay beautiful sightseeings such as: Thumb Islet, Duck Islet, etc.
Return to Dora Cruise, you’ll be amazed by the beauty of the Bay in the Sunset Party and learn how to be a Vietnamese Chef with cooking class.
Evening
Time for Dinner and other night activities.
Morning
Welcome the morning with great breakfast. Then we’ll transfer to a day cruise to explore the rural part of Halong Bay.
Get to Cat Ba Island and heading to Viet Hai Village. Start exploring the village by bicycle and stop at a local house to see the daily life of local fisherman.
Get back to the Day Cruise for lunch.
Afternoon:
Get to a private lagoon for kayaking and swimming. Leisurely relaxing on the beach and enjoy the peaceful atmostphere of Lan Ha Bay.
Return to Dora Cruise later that day for Sunset Party and cooking class.
Evening
Dinner time with seafood and Vietnamese specialty.
Overnight on board.
Morning
Filling up your energy by our breakfast. Then we’ll heading to Dark and Night Cave. Explore the area by bamboo boat, rowing by local people.
Get back to Dora Cruise and do the check out. Having lunch while the cruise slowly back to the Pier.
Disembark at Tuan Chau Marina. Say goodbye to the staff and continue with your travel plan.

No, the bus only picks up & drops off at Hanoi Old quarter.
However, we’re also provide a separated service to transfer from Old Quarter to the Airport. Please kindly note in the booking so that our agent could advise accordingly.

Besides, others food such as Halal, non-gluten,.. or any special requirement are also available. Please kindly inform us by email or “note section” once you process the booking in the next step. We’ll ensure your dining experience on board will be memorable.
No it’s not. We have mentioned clearly what’s included in “Price Inclusion” section above. However, we do provide transfer service between cruises and Hanoi/Hai Phong/Ninh Binh. It’s all could be booked in the next step. If your wish destination is not show up, kindly note down on the Booking Notes for our travel expert to advise accordingly.
The cruise would be back to the port at 11:30. It then take 3 hours to get back to Hanoi airport & 45 mins to get to Hai Phong airport. As a results, we strongly suggest:
- Flight from Cat Bi Airport (Hai Phong City): After 2pm
- Flight from Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi City): After 5pm
When packing for Cruise, the most important items to bring are comfortable clothing, swimwear, and sunscreen. If you travel during winter months (November to Feb), you may also need to pack a light jacket or sweater to keep warm during cooler evenings.
Typically, each cruise provides 1 – 2 bottles of water for free every day, and you will not be allowed to bring your own drinks. So, if you want to stay hydrated, bring some money (the drinks on board are a little pricy)
It is also recommended that you bring a camera or smartphone with enough of storage capacity for photos and videos in order to make the most of your trip. Prepare some waterproof protection for them, as you will be doing a lot of water-based activities.
Finally, remember to bring any medications or toiletries you might need while away from home.

We had a great trip. The limousine bus was comfortable. The food and accommodations were excellent. The VIP cabin was well worth the extra bit of money. Our server, Lyn, went out of her way to make us comfortable. She had great English too. And of course, the view was outstanding!
