Spending a night on a cruise is definitely a unique experience in Halong. There’s no place to explore the vibrant of Halong cultural than a market. Halong Bay night markets offer a variety of items, such as souvenirs, handicrafts, local specialties, clothing, etc. They are also considered culinary paradises, famous for their seafood restaurants and snack stalls.
Most of the sellers here are friendly and can communicate in basic English, so buying things and talk to them to learn more about the culture is not a difficult thing.

Eating street food is a must-do when reveling in Halong Bay’s nightlife. The night markets are the best places to eat a wide variety of delicious foods.
Seafood dishes are a culinary characteristic of the coastal city. You should try some of the best local foods, like Ngan porridge, Ngan stir-fried noodles, Sam salad, Sam rolls, stir-fried squid, grilled squid, grilled oysters with onion grease, rolled cake with squid rolls, etc. Then you can have dessert with some well-known Halong snacks, like Halong pearl yogurt, floating cake, nodding cake, and pillow cake.
Sun Wheel
Sun Wheel is a symbol of Halong Bay, located on Yet Kieu Street, Tran Hung Dao, Halong City. It belongs to the Sun World Ha Long Complex, with an area of up to 214 hectares. The massive wheel has the height 215 meters and recognize as one of the 10 biggest Ferris wheels in the world. It’s height allow you to take in the entire sparkling panoramic view of Halong Bay at night. This ferry has a total of 64 cabins, enough to accommodate about 1,200 passengers per hour, and takes 20 minutes per rotation.
You could book the tickets directly at the counter for 350,000vnd (15USD~). Remember that the wheel only open in the afternoon, from 14:00 to 19:00 (Close at 22:00 on the weekends).
Beach bars
Along the Bai Chay coast, beach bars are places that attract tourists after sunset. These will be ideal entertainment spots if you are passionate about music, dancing, enjoying premium cocktails, etc.
