Grand Pioneers Cruise is the biggest yacht in Halong Bay. It’s also considered to be the most luxurious cruise in the area at the moment.

Just recently opened since November 2024, Grand Pioneers Cruise brings to you 55 suite cabins with a maximum capacity of up to 160 passengers. Spread over 110 m long of the cruise, these suite sizes range from 30 m2 to 150 m2. They’re all designed in modern styles, with modest facilities and ocean views in all room types.

Located on the 5th deck of the Grand Pioneers, “Dining by the Bay” restaurant will bring you an exceptional dining experience during your cruise. All the meals are well catered to Michelin standards, with a buffet for breakfast and lunch and a special outdoor BBQ for dinner.
Dining by the Bay also comes with a 360-degree view of the bay; make sure you won’t miss any moments, even during your dining.
Travel routes and activities
Grand Pioneers Cruise set sail on the most original route of Halong Bay. It’ll take you through the stunning Sung Sot Cave, kayaking in Luon Cave, and reaching the viewpoint of Ti Top Island. With a 3-day itinerary, you also have the chance to see Lan Ha Bay, a quiet yet magnificent “neighbor” of Halong Bay.

2. Cancellation due to inclement weather:
– In the event of inclement weather, the Management Board of Halong Bay will determine the morning of departure whether a cancellation is necessary. If such a cancellation is necessary, we will provide alternative travel arrangements or a full refund in accordance with the cruise policy.

- Child from 5 – 11 years old: 75% charge. Sharing the same bed with parents

Sung Sot Cave

First stop at Sung Sot, the most beautiful cave in Halong Bay. Explore the millions-year-old stalagtites and stalagmine inside it.

Explore Sung Sot Cave, the most stunning cave in Halong Bay. Otherwise, you could spend time relaxing on the cruise and attending entertainment activities.
Come back to Grand Pioneers Cruise and join in the sunset party.

Dinner and freetime.

Wake up for meditation class. Have breakfast.
Transfer to a dayboat and head for Ti Top Island. Spend time swimming or climbing. View Halong Bay from the top of the island.
Visit Trinh Nu Cave and Trong Cave, then go back to Grand Pioneer to have lunch.

Visit the Pearl Farm factory. Learn about the pearl-making process and buy some souvenirs.

No, the bus only picks up & drops off at Hanoi Old quarter.
However, we’re also provide a separated service to transfer from Old Quarter to the Airport. Please kindly note in the booking so that our agent could advise accordingly.

Besides, others food such as Halal, non-gluten,.. or any special requirement are also available. Please kindly inform us by email or “note section” once you process the booking in the next step. We’ll ensure your dining experience on board will be memorable.
No it’s not. We have mentioned clearly what’s included in “Price Inclusion” section above. However, we do provide transfer service between cruises and Hanoi/Hai Phong/Ninh Binh. It’s all could be booked in the next step. If your wish destination is not show up, kindly note down on the Booking Notes for our travel expert to advise accordingly.
The cruise would be back to the port at 11:30. It then take 3 hours to get back to Hanoi airport & 45 mins to get to Hai Phong airport. As a results, we strongly suggest:
- Flight from Cat Bi Airport (Hai Phong City): After 2pm
- Flight from Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi City): After 5pm
When packing for Cruise, the most important items to bring are comfortable clothing, swimwear, and sunscreen. If you travel during winter months (November to Feb), you may also need to pack a light jacket or sweater to keep warm during cooler evenings.
Typically, each cruise provides 1 – 2 bottles of water for free every day, and you will not be allowed to bring your own drinks. So, if you want to stay hydrated, bring some money (the drinks on board are a little pricy)
It is also recommended that you bring a camera or smartphone with enough of storage capacity for photos and videos in order to make the most of your trip. Prepare some waterproof protection for them, as you will be doing a lot of water-based activities.
Finally, remember to bring any medications or toiletries you might need while away from home.
