Day 2: Viet Hai Village - Cat Ba Island - Lan Ha Bay (B,L,D)
Morning
Welcome the morning with great breakfast. Then we’ll transfer to a day cruise to explore the rural part of Lan Ha Bay.
Get to Cat Ba Island and heading to Viet Hai Village. Start exploring the village by bicycle and stop at a local house to see the daily life of local fisherman.
Get back to the Day Cruise for lunch.
Afternoon:
Get to a private lagoon for kayaking and swimming. Leisurely relaxing on the beach and enjoy the peaceful atmostphere of Lan Ha Bay.
Return to Dora Cruise later that day for Sunset Party and cooking class.
Evening
Dinner time with seafood and Vietnamese specialty.
Overnight on board.

Built in 2020, Dora Cruise is designed with 4 decks, included 22 suite cabins. Each cabin furnish a full private balcony and jacuzzi bathtub. They’re also equip the most modern amenities: air conditioning, TVs, and Western standard bed.
Dora also provide various extra amenities, including:
- Spa Room: Located on 3rd floor, the spa room of Dora serves a wide menu of relaxing, from Aroma, Thai Massage or just basic foot massage.
- Gym Room: Help you stay in shape with the modern equipment. This room also comes with a panoramic view.
- Sundeck: Located on the top deck, the sundeck spans over 350m2 , offer an open space to on board activities: Tai Chi, Cooking Class or Tea party. Further more, the highlight of the deck is a open swimming pool, with full scenery of Halong Bay.
Dora Restaurant and bar sit on the 3rd floor, offering full view of Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay. It’s could serve up to 80 people.

2. Cancellation due to inclement weather:
– In the event of inclement weather, the Management Board of Halong Bay will determine the morning of departure whether a cancellation is necessary. If such a cancellation is necessary, we will provide alternative travel arrangements or a full refund in accordance with the cruise policy.

1. Could we get picked up and drop off at the airport?
No, the bus only picks up & drops off at Hanoi Old quarter.
However, we’re also provide a separated service to transfer from Old Quarter to the Airport. Please kindly note in the booking so that our agent could advise accordingly.
2. Is there vegetarian food available ?
Yes. All of the cruises are now offer vegetarian options for travelers.
Besides, others food such as Halal, non-gluten,.. or any special requirement are also available. Please kindly inform us by email or “note section” once you process the booking in the next step. We’ll ensure your dining experience on board will be memorable.
3. Does the cruise price included transfer from Hanoi or Hai Phong or Ninh Binh?
No it’s not. We have mentioned clearly what’s included in “Price Inclusion” section above. However, we do provide transfer service between cruises and Hanoi/Hai Phong/Ninh Binh. It’s all could be booked in the next step. If your wish destination is not show up, kindly note down on the Booking Notes for our travel expert to advise accordingly.
4. If I plan to book a flight right after the cruise, what time should I book ?
The cruise would be back to the port at 11:30. It then take 3 hours to get back to Hanoi airport & 45 mins to get to Hai Phong airport. As a results, we strongly suggest:
- Flight from Cat Bi Airport (Hai Phong City): After 2pm
- Flight from Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi City): After 5pm
5. What should I pack for the cruise ?
When packing for Cruise, the most important items to bring are comfortable clothing, swimwear, and sunscreen. If you travel during winter months (November to Feb), you may also need to pack a light jacket or sweater to keep warm during cooler evenings.
Typically, each cruise provides 1 – 2 bottles of water for free every day, and you will not be allowed to bring your own drinks. So, if you want to stay hydrated, bring some money (the drinks on board are a little pricy)
It is also recommended that you bring a camera or smartphone with enough of storage capacity for photos and videos in order to make the most of your trip. Prepare some waterproof protection for them, as you will be doing a lot of water-based activities.
Finally, remember to bring any medications or toiletries you might need while away from home.

I am very sorry that I have to give Dora Cruise 3 star rating even though my family of 11 of us really enjoyed our time on your cruise ship for 3 days 2 nights.
We experienced a very bad situation that the sales representative Ms Ly Nguyen who booked for us 3 family connected rooms and one junior suite. It ended up she put my daughter and my 2 grandkids into a smaller room since they ran out of those rooms. She waited until the last minute to alert us the shortage of rooms right before we boarded the ship.
Then she promised to us that she would switch that room to the proper bigger room the next day but she did not deliver it.
We had to talk to the ship manager regarding this situation and then they promised that they will reimburse the difference. We would receive the reimbursement within 2-3 days.
I love to give Bruce ( the leader ) our appreciation since he took a very good care of us and our server who gave us his full attention and best service.
