Golden Cruise is a budget cruise with the largest size in Halong Bay. Beside its standout looks, the cruise would also bring you an excellent experience with its spacious rooms, good dining, and, of course, the stunning scenery of the bay.
Facilities
The cruise takes the golden color as its main theme, together with traditional designs that make Golden look like a shining star in the sea.
Golden Cruise featured 48 cabins with a capacity of up to 100 passengers, one of the largest in Halong Bay. Even though it’s been sailing since 2018, all of the features inside Golden’s cabin are well maintained, from modern TVs, air conditioning, luxurious bed to special details like a jacuzzi bathtub. There are 3 different types of cabins, including: Luxury Cabins, Family Cabins, and VIP Cabins.
Up on top of the cruise, you could also find a large and spacious sundeck with a panoramic view of the whole Halong Bay. There’ll be sun loungers lined up along the deck; turn it into the perfect place to chill and admire the beauty of the bay.
Dining
The cruise restaurant, “Golden Palace,” is located on the 2nd floor of the cruise, surrounded by a glass wall with a view of the bay. The food on board will be mainly Vietnamese style, with Halong Bay seafood as the soul of the dishes. Dining style will be a blend of buffets for breakfast and lunch, plus a la carte menus for dinners. Especially on sunny days, you could also have a chance to have a BBQ dinner on the deck.
Travel routes and activities
Just like others, Golden Cruise will cover Halong Bay’s main routes and attractions, including Sung Sot Cave, Ti Top Island, Luon Cave, and a part of Lan Ha Bay. There’ll be 2 options for you to choose from: 2 days for a quick look or 3 days with more relaxing schedules.
There’ll be a lot of activities during your time on board too: kayaking, swimming, cooking class, and a sunset party.

2. Cancellation due to inclement weather:
– In the event of inclement weather, the Management Board of Halong Bay will determine the morning of departure whether a cancellation is necessary. If such a cancellation is necessary, we will provide alternative travel arrangements or a full refund in accordance with the cruise policy.
- Child from 0 – 4 Years old: free of charge. Sharing the same bed with parents
- Child from 5 – 11 years old: 75% charge. Sharing the same bed with parents

Itineraries
12:30: Check in at Tuan Chau Marina. Transfer by tender to Golden Cruise.
13:30: Lunch at Golden Palace restaurant on board. Start the journey along Halong Bay.
14:45: Stop by and explore Sung Sot Cave.
15:45: Arrive Ti Top Island. Hiking to the top for viewpoint or swimming at the island’s beach.
17:30: Back to the cruise to attend sunset party.
21:00 Dinner time.
6:30: Doing Tai Chi on the deck (Optional)
7:00: Buffet breakfast at Golden Palace Restaurant.
08:00: Travel to Luon Cave. Kayaking or bamboo boating to explore the smallest cave of Halong.
09:30: Brunch time
11:30: Get back to Tuan Chau Marina. Say goodbye to Golden Cruise Halong Bay.
Morning
Arrive Tuan Chau. Transfer by boat to Golden Cruise.
Afternoon
After a delicious lunch, get to Sung Sot Cave. Visit the most famous cave of Halong bay. After that, spend time in Ti Top Island. Free to hiking to the viewpoint, kayaking or simply swimming in the beach.
Get back to Golden Cruise later this afternoon for sunset party and cooking class.
Evening
Dinner time.
Morning:
After morning Taichi Class, have breakfast and transfer to a day boat to explore the hidden Halong Bay.
First stop is Cua Van Fishing Village. Learn about the daily life of local and how they manage to live on the bay.
Return to the day cruise for lunch.
Afternoon:
Meet the water again. Relaxing on the serene Ba Trai Dao Beach – an unspoiled beach which only reveal itself 3 hours per day.
Later in the afternoon, get back to Golden Cruise
Evening
Dinner and relaxing on board.
Morning:
Waking up for breakfast.
Travel to Luon Cave, kayaking and bamboo boat to explore the smallest cave of the bay.
10:00: Come back to the cruise, check out and have brunch.
12:00: Back to Tuan Chau Marina. Farewell with the cruise. Tour end.

No, the bus only picks up & drops off at Hanoi Old quarter.
However, we’re also provide a separated service to transfer from Old Quarter to the Airport. Please kindly note in the booking so that our agent could advise accordingly.

No it’s not. We have mentioned clearly what’s included in “Price Inclusion” section above. However, we do provide transfer service between cruises and Hanoi/Hai Phong/Ninh Binh. It’s all could be booked in the next step. If your wish destination is not show up, kindly note down on the Booking Notes for our travel expert to advise accordingly.
The cruise would be back to the port at 11:30. It then take 3 hours to get back to Hanoi airport & 45 mins to get to Hai Phong airport. As a results, we strongly suggest:
- Flight from Cat Bi Airport (Hai Phong City): After 2pm
- Flight from Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi City): After 5pm
When packing for Cruise, the most important items to bring are comfortable clothing, swimwear, and sunscreen. If you travel during winter months (November to Feb), you may also need to pack a light jacket or sweater to keep warm during cooler evenings.
Typically, each cruise provides 1 – 2 bottles of water for free every day, and you will not be allowed to bring your own drinks. So, if you want to stay hydrated, bring some money (the drinks on board are a little pricy)
It is also recommended that you bring a camera or smartphone with enough of storage capacity for photos and videos in order to make the most of your trip. Prepare some waterproof protection for them, as you will be doing a lot of water-based activities.
Finally, remember to bring any medications or toiletries you might need while away from home.
