Tuan Chau Marina is an international port located in Halong City, Quang Ninh Province in northeast Vietnam, approximately 163 kilometers from Hanoi Capital. Thanks to its ideal location, the marina has been used as the main hub to organize and manage all the cruises and activities in Halong Bay.

Getting there
Traveling to Tuan Chau is quite easy with many transportation options. If you start from Hanoi, you could choose bus (10USD), private car (80USD) or even seaplane (200USD). The riding time might take from 3 hours to 4 hours, depend on transportation mode and traffic condition.
If you start from Cat Bi or Van Don airport, we suggest you should take a private taxi with the cost of around 35USD and 50 minutes ride. Buses also available but they’re famous for not being punctual at times.

Facilities
Tuan Chau Marina also serves as the departure point for all cruises to Halong Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay, and Lan Ha Bay. It is divided into 2 different ports:
- Tuan Chau Port 1: The port is designed in the European style and has a 2000-meter anchorage. In the port center is a 8000m2 building system, containing waiting lounges, operation rooms, and a ticket counter. With 1000 seats, Port 1 can accommodate 3000 passengers at once.

Tuan Chau International Port (Port 2): The 2nd port is serving as the operation hub and the head quarter of Halong Bay management board. It’s also the departure place of all Halong Bay cruises.

Besides its main role as a gateway to Bai Tu Long Bay and Halong Bay, Tuan Chau Marina offers a wide range of other extra service, such as super markets, kid zone, and theme parks. On both sides of the marina are gorgeous hotels, beaches, and other entertainment services.

Tuan Chau Marina was designed with the idea of “one destination with more utilities” in mind. As a result, in addition to its main function as a Marina, Tuan Chau also provides a variety of entertainment services.
Watching Musical fountain is an activity that you should not miss when visiting Tuan Chau Marina. This 40-minute show will transport you to a stunning world of colorful lights and sound, satisfying both your eyes and ears. Looking down from above, the stage resembles a Colosseum, adding even more grandeur to the show.

Playing at Tuan Chau park: If you’re traveling with children, don’t worry; the marina has a theme park with a variety of attractions such as a Ferris wheel, a little water park, dolphin performance stage, and more.

Relaxing in Tuan Chau Beach: Tuan Chau Beach is located in the south of Tuan Chau Marina and features a 5 kilometers white beach, green waters, and sun all year. Along with swimming, there are many other water sports for beachgoers to enjoy, such as kayaking or boater cycling.
